Project Scope:
Global Scansystems Ltd (GSL) engaged the services of Business Choice Integrated Concerns ltd to undertake the following tasks:
Design and implementation of centralized Communication solutions (E-mail/Intranet) across its sites in Nigeria. Business choice implemented a MDaemon 9.5 messaging solutions on the WAN infrastructure of GSL in Lagos to achieve this.
Centralized Internet access & Firewall solutions: Business choice implemented Microsoft ISA server 2004 along with web filter surfcontrol internet security software to achieve this while eliminating business threat from unauthorized websites and cost savings on Bandwidth for GSL.
Centralized web access to GSL Oracle based applications at its headquarters in Lagos from all the other remote sites in Nigeria (PTML-Tincan Apapa, NAHCO-Courier, NAHCO-Cargo, SAHCOL-ikeja, NMA-customs, Seme border, Warri & Calabar ports). Business choice implemented a web based citrix applications for GSL over a layer3 Cisco secured site-to-site VPN networks. This improves GSL processing times by eliminating paper processes and improvement in business process.
